Tomorrow will be one year since one of the greatest singers passed, Gerald Levert.
It's sad too because his new cd "IN MY SONGS" to me is his best work.
But I did not make this blog or the picture to become sad, I made it so we can remember Gerald Levert with a smile on his face when we listen to his music.
The flyest thing about Gerald Levert was you never had to say anything to your lady. All you had to do was play one of his songs. I can tell he went through it all, but what ever you wanted to say... Just put on a Gerald Levert song and he would say it for you.
I thank God for providing us with good music from Gerald Levert, Luther Vandross and others who have passed. I also thank God for the other good voices who sing meaningful songs not the bubble gum music like we hear on the radio. But that good can't wait to get home to see your love one music.
I don't want to ramble on so R.I.P. Gerald Levert and God Bless the Levert family, and K. Sweat, D. Sweat, Mechi, D. Moe, my family and yours.
