KAR PHOTOGRAPHY SUMMER SERIES 08

Hello all, I hope everyone is having a great summer even though it rains just about every other day, it's still a great summer at least to me. I am staying very busy doing shoots. I also have a great team of people around me from hair stylist, make-up artist, stylist and of course my family.
As I stated in my last blog, My Barber since I was 15 Denny Moe, of Denny Moe's Superstar barbershop, event was listed on the Top 100 things to do in New York This Summer in the Daily News, Cutting for A Cure. D.Moe created this event to raise awareness and money for Cancer. Barbers from New York, Atlanta, and Florida came to Denny Moe's to cut hair for 48 hours straight, proceeds from the cuts went to the cure. Hosted by Tuffy of Nickelodeon there were 2 days of performances, from gospel, poetry, to R&B, and dancing. The event started at 5:30 am Friday June 29th with every women in New York's favorite weather man from Fox 5 News Mike Woods
and ended 8am Sunday June 29th. This was a good for the soul event. Shout out to Big John from Florida who came up 95 to Cut for a Cure, and My cousin Craig Logan of Barbers Only Magazine (ATL.) and Frank Lucas the Barber aka Smooth Lou (ATL.). Frank and D. Moe are Keith Sweat's New York and Atlanta barbers. Craig Logan has the number 1 barber magazine out called BARBERS ONLY MAGAZINE www.barbersonlymagazine.com and a Shop in Atl. John has a shop in Florida. They all came out to support this great cause, check out the pics and this video.

Also did you know that Ralph Lauren has a Cancer Center in Harlem on 124th street between Park and Madison. I actually took a tour there last week, if someone has cancer they have sponsors like Lance Armstrong, American Express, Disney, and of Course Ralph Lauren that will provide payment for your treatment from day 1 until. Dr. Frazier and Family

Shout out to one of my life long friends Preston Frazier and His Wife Nicole and thank you guys for letting me take pics of your family I hope you enjoy the pics. Preston is doing his thing in D.C. excuse me I mean Dr. Frazier. It's great to see my people's making moves, nobody believes (how Pres, Diallo, Hassan, Trey, Jay, Brian Scott, Bill and others) would believe how we played hard tackle footballon concrete in the valley in Esplanade Gardens, when we were kids. Pres would have his Yellow pad with his pen to keep track of how many touch downs or passes he or anyone had. If we played baseball, or stoop ball Pres had it written down. Even Atari Pres had all the stats for all the games. Now Pres resides in DC and is Program Manager at General Dynamics, and has a Doctoral in Engineering. Keep Doing your thing Dr. Frazier. . I believe in give my peoples their props, It's great to see my brothers doing great things. It helps Keeps me focus and on my grind, and it should inspire those instead of creating the H word.
